This ground-breaking project involved the relocation of the on-course training and stabling facilities to the infield — the first of its kind in the world — setting a new standard for elite racecourses.
The relocation freed up land owned by the Brisbane Racing Club, enabling a mixed-use redevelopment, while ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the Club. The infield comprises 400 stables and training facilities, a member’s car park, large-format video board, maintenance facilities, vehicular and pedestrian tunnels, and a multi-purpose entry pavilion.
