Mitchell O’Connell

Mitch is a Senior Legal Counsel for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing legal, risk and insurance matters as part of Populous’ global legal team. Prior to coming to Populous, Mitch spent over six years in an international law firm, with a broad practice across litigation, corporate law and anti-trust matters, and he has advised on major construction disputes, merger clearances and compliance investigations across the region.

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, and is a Member of Queensland Law Society.
