Megan Ashfield

From her studies at university, Megan’s interest has always focused on the detailed design of large scale entertainment destinations – the competitor and performer requirements, the spectator and audience experience, and the back of house support facilities and processes that enable the effective staging of major events. Megan joined Populous in 1990, working on projects in Europe and Australia, and has continued to develop the global practice’s understanding of the functional requirements of venues and how people enjoy, use and respond to the environment they inhabit for an event.

Megan was part of the project lead design team for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, overseeing the concept design through to site delivery of the main concourse areas for the 52,000 GA spectators.
