Charlie Kolarik delivers spaces that foster an engaging experience and atmosphere for all attendees. From Populous’ office in Norman, Oklahoma, Charlie offers expertise designing and developing multipurpose event and exposition projects, with an emphasis on livestock and equestrian venues.
Charlie keeps the flexibility of a space at the forefront during the design process, while ensuring the incorporation of the unique character and culture of the brand. He understands the operational, political and funding challenges that multipurpose venues face.
His portfolio spans the globe, with the completion of projects in the U.S., Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Charlie played an integral role in the design of the Oklahoma City Fair Park MAPS Coliseum, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo strategic planning, and the National Western Complex Equine and Livestock Venues.
As an advocate and lifelong student of leadership development, Charlie leads projects with an emphasis on collaborative team engagement. He defines project success as achieving personal and professional growth for those involved on all sides of a project.
