Texas A&M University has one of the premier football programs and collegiate brands in the nation. From day one, our challenge for the Bright Football Complex renovation was to give the Aggies a training facility that matched the stature of their new football stadium, their football program and brand. With that in mind, the design team set out to design a training facility never before seen in college football.

The renovated training facility features a new entry atrium, revamped locker room and players’ lounge, training rooms, meeting rooms, players’ corridor and coaches’ offices to create a modern training experience. The space serves as an integral recruiting tool, complete with the latest training technology, customized furniture and graphics.

The locker room, the signature component of the renovation, includes a high-impact experience unlike anything in collegiate athletics. It features charging stations within each locker, individual helmet displays, a custom perforated metal ceiling and two frameless LED screens on each locker that will display information about players, daily motivational content and can serve as a ribbon board with the ability to transform the environment.

The locker room also features a barbershop, a large player’s lounge and custom graphics tailored to tell the story of Texas A&M Football. With this new technology, Texas A&M can transform their facility to various modes — game day mode, training mode and recruiting mode — at the push of a button.

The Bright Football Complex gives Texas A&M a leg up in the collegiate football recruiting arms race. The renovations are the most forward-thinking, technologically-advanced in collegiate athletics and tell the incredible story of Aggie Football: the program’s history, dominance and tradition.
