Casement Park

Located on a 12 acre site on the Andersonstown Road in the west of Belfast, Casement Park is one of the largest stadiums in Northern Ireland, hosting football and hurling matches. The stadium was redeveloped into an all-seated venue, which became the largest stadium in Ulster and a regional flagship for Ulster GAA.

Populous’ design provided a more accessible stadium and new and improved facilities to serve the needs of the GAA’s, players and the local community, with up to 2,000m2 of dedicated community space. The redevelopment introduced 2,000 premium/corporate level seats and aimed to secure additional major fixtures. It incorporated facilities to support a range of sporting and non-sporting uses, maximizing the economic and social sustainability of the stadium.
